Kinda late to make a review of this, but I enjoyed this game. It's straightforward with some little bit deep meanings on certain parts. I also like the characters, and I guess the low poly model and inspecting it, tho I think it's part of the engine, unless I'm wrong in that. Overall it's a fun game.
I also made a commentary version, but my voice might be cursed.
Thank you for the video, it’s the first time I receive something like this! I actually made the engine myself in order to render the low poly models. Glad you liked it!
Is it possible to get this in .tic format to download? I want to try running this on my retro handheld since it looks like it has the perfect screen ratio for tic-80 games, and this game looks pretty.
Yes! Our game is currently being featured on TIC80.com. The .tic file as well as the source code are available to download here https://tic80.com/play?cart=3691
Thanks! I gave it a test run, but couldn't get past the main menu on my device (likely because it lacks mouse input). That's fine though, I'll play the windows version.
I see, yeah… the main mechanics of the game uses mouse (or touch) as its primary input. So unfortunately there isn’t a good way for me to port it such that it only uses buttons.
Love this! I've always been a big fan of fantasy and magic genres, along with winter aesthetics, and this matched those interests perfectly! It's always nice to come by a sweet, light-hearted game like this. Hope to see more like it in the future! :D
